Hello everyone welcome to another daily gym today is wednesday june 5th 2024, and hi it's my birthday i will talk about that more tomorrow because right now i just want to talk about my my voice oh man um we miss i think i want to talk about how we miss our human abilities once we lose them or once they change so uh here celebrating my birthday a good friend of mine uh hurt his knee and i had to go to the doctor and get checked out and just realized you know how we take some of these things for granted and i'm. Sitting here with a very clogged up nose and i'm wondering how does my voice sound right now i mean it sounds crazy in my own ahead it's really hard to even speak this long without sniffle sniffle sniffle so just thinking about how we have different tools or different abilities that really impact our lives not just from. A professional standpoint but also personal just living oh there's a sniffle and uh even where i'm recording a recording in a kitchen there's some refrigerator moving and i'm not sure how this affects the sound quality part of me doesn't yeah part of me doesn't care too much because it's gonna be a short one but uh yeah just thinking about how we can take some of these things for granted and it doesn't even have to be like our back i talked to my buddy because he had some back problems before too and you know having a knee problem is one thing because it's hard to walk but having a back problem can't even move and so just thinking the degrees to which it really impacts us if i'm a computer programmer and i hurt my hand even if it's just one finger how does that really throw off my programming skills um but if i'm a podcaster i'm a person who records podcasts and i have a stuffy nose ruddy nose how does that impact not only the ability of me to speak and breathe but also how long can i go without uh sniffling in and how does it change the quality of my voice. Now imagine if I were a singer or whatnot, even a doctor trying to communicate with patients.

Anyways, like I said, I'm running out of steam because I don't want to sniffle sniffle through the whole podcast, so I'm going to cut this short and hopefully feel a little bit better tomorrow, and I'll talk to you all soon, and maybe give you a little recap on the birthday celebration. All right, bye.
