Hello everyone, welcome to another Daily Gym. Today is Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, and the topic today is, I believe the world needs me to be one of the most financially powerful people, and I need you to help me to get there.
So right after Trump got elected, I did a podcast episode that said, I think the world, I believe the world needs me to be famous. And I said that. I wanted to say I believe the world needs someone like me to be famous.
But that I actually think it's time that I step up and say it's me. And I think it's the same thing here. When I say I believe the world needs me to be one of the most financially powerful people, there's a part of me that wants to say I believe the world needs someone like me, someone with my behaviors, someone with my goals in life or direction to be one of the most financially powerful people. But sometimes I say that out of fear. Because I pull back, I look and I hope and I say, okay, maybe it's this person, maybe it's that person, maybe it's this person. I've done this when it comes to political power, done this when it comes to social power, waiting for someone else to jump in to step up and be in that position.
And I think it's easy for me to do the same thing financially, waiting for someone who has a lot of financial power, who has the most financial power to start saying, you know what, we need to start coming together. We need to start paying attention to emotions. We need to start resolving conflict instead of avoiding it. We need to address, we need to manage and realize life is conflict.
But I'm tired of waiting. I'm tired of getting trapped in the fear of not just stepping up and saying that I think I can be that person. Ah, see, even there, I'm, you know, a little trepidation. That I believe that the world needs me to step up and do that.
So why so in general why do i think that we need certain people to have the most financial power because financial power can sway society because when we have money people do things that they're not necessarily sure that they want to do but the money incentivizes them makes them okay maybe i'll do it now when we have social power it requires almost it requires a lot of percentage of people to agree to it. When we have political power, again, maybe it's 51% to get elected. But when we have financial power, it doesn't require as much buy-in, which can be very dangerous, right? Because people with financial power, or you could say physical or military power, can do things that other people don't want, and it can bring damage or more harm to society. It's dangerous.
It's risky, can also bring maybe good to society. So I think of someone like Marshall Rosenberg, who started nonviolent communication. He talked about money. And he said sometimes when he was running workshops in West Africa, people wanted to attend his workshop on nonviolent communication, but couldn't because they didn't have money for transport. They didn't have money to pay for the breakfast for their kids back home. So he would actually sometimes give money to people and also give them the workshop.
And so sometimes people want things, but they can't because they don't have money. And so it's not even like they can't even take it for free because they need money to also do the thing. So sometimes when people have financial power, that means we can give things to other people that they actually want, but they also need the money or they also need some other service with it.
And so I look at some of the people around the world who are trying so damn hard to help people love themselves help people love each other to help people resolve and and have the courage to fight with each other to fight for each other and often these people don't have that much money And then I look at some of the people who have so much financial power, and then they don't spend it on these things. They spend it on going to Mars. They spend it on rocket ships. They spend it on yachts. Okay, fine. If you're going to spend it on a yacht, what are you going to do with the yacht that's trying to bring people back together, that's trying to unite humanity? Often people use it to run away from relationships. I have a yacht, and so I'm going to stay away from all these people that are bothering me. Okay you want to go to mars fine but what about the type of society we're going to create once we get to mars are you thinking about how the human beings are going to interact with each other how they might interact if we ever did find some life form elsewhere how are we going to learn to be a much more loving society so that we can connect we can resolve conflict together that we stay on the same team how many people with a lot of financial power are using their financial power to bring these things to society. At least what I see right now, not many, or maybe they're doing it, but it's just not very obvious. And so then it comes to the question of why do I think I need, or the world needs me to be one of the most financially powerful people. It's because I am so dedicated to this. And I think it's something we need more than anything in the world right now. We went through a global pandemic where millions of people died and billions of us retreated into our own bubbles. We were told, stay at home, or we were even forced to stay inside. We ran away from each other. We missed each other dearly. We ran away from each other. And now we don't necessarily, we seem to be worse at resolving conflict with each other because if a conflict happens, we can just run away back to our own little bubble.
And it is having global impacts. When we elect people politically that seem to just want to punch people in the face and run away, it leads to problems. It can lead to more war. It can lead to more loneliness, more disconnection.
And I'm tired of waiting and hoping that the people who are currently in positions of power, whether that's political, social, especially financial, are building tools or sending messages or communications or just demonstrating what it looks like to bring people back together, to get back on the same team.
And you might ask, well, why do I need financial power to do that? You can do that. I mean, MLK, Gandhi, these people, they built social movements that didn't require a lot of financial power and they had very large impacts on the world. True. Yeah, true. But what impact would they have had on the world if they did have a lot of financial power?
What if Martin Luther King Jr. could have started a radio station?
For those in America and maybe elsewhere, if you're familiar with Mr. Rogers, who ran a show called Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood on PBS, what if he could have started a whole TV channel, not just one show?
What if he could have had a media empire like Rupert Murdoch?
How would society look different if people who are dedicating their lives to bringing people together, to building tools to help people not only just survive, but to live very fulfilling lives to chase their dreams, had financial power to build the tools to sway society in that direction.
So again, why me?
I mean, I can give you a lot of reasons. I can tell you why I believe it. But at the end of the day, it's, do you believe it?
Do you believe that I have the strength, that I have the courage, that I have the dedication, that I have the creativity, that I have the charisma, that I have the integrity, that I have the devotion, that I have the kindness, that I have the endurance to use this money, to use this financial power in a way that will likely bring people much closer together.
Again, it's up to you to make that decision. And if it's not me, maybe it's somebody else. But I sure as hell want you to give that money to somebody. I sure as hell want you to give financial power to somebody instead of us just sitting back and hoping, that the people who currently got their financial power or often from investments or through selling highly addictive products to people, that they're going to focus on this. And maybe they will. I'm not saying that they won't. I sure hope that they will. I sure hope something will shake them, and they'll realize that this is really important in society. But what about finding the people who already believe that it's very important? Finding the people who have already sacrificed, or been willing to sacrifice so much in their life, to fight for this stuff and to say, you know what, what if we gave you the power? What if we gave you the resources to push this?
I think of myself. I built iFeelio back in the day. Journaling app, micro journaling app. How do I feel what's happening? Very simple. I had a woman use it for three weeks and she says, I need to talk to you. We spoke for three hours. She says, it's changed the relationship with my mother, changed the relationship with my ex-husband with whom I share a child, and it's changed the relationship with my estranged brother who I haven't talked to in, I don't know, she said like five years or something. She used the app for three weeks. Somebody else said, wow, this app really makes you honest with yourself. Somebody else said, before I enter the app, I look around to make sure that nobody sees what I'm putting into. I said, there's only like 100 people in the world who know about it. She says, but I know what I'm about to enter.
Somebody else, they opened up the app. The tutorial said, how do I feel? They put cool. And then they said, but cool is not really a feeling. So they learned in the tutorial of the app, something like I feel you, if I had financial power, I could build a lot faster. Because the thing with financial power is that you could do things that other people don't necessarily believe in until they believe in them. Again, this is risky, it's dangerous, but it's also innovation. How do you come up with new things in the world if you need consensus before you do them? You can't. You have to do them before other people believe in them. And slowly you get some more adopters, more adopters, and people can start to realize maybe this is important. Again, it's a risky thing to do, but we have to take risks if we want to move forward in life. And I am sitting here wondering.
How much more could I do if I had not even just financial power, but if I were one of the most financially powerful people? Could I go to the World Economic Forum? What could I do there? I could sit with a CEO at the bar. We could have a nice beer. We could have a nice scotch, perhaps. But maybe we would have a conversation about how the pandemic has really impacted people in the United States or across the world. And maybe we can talk about how it has created so much loneliness and so much unwillingness to speak because we didn't speak for years or we talked to a few people in person. Maybe I could talk about the economic inflation, right? So it's how so many people are angry about inflation, but really it may be caused by economic anxiety coming from the pandemic based on people's economic experience of the pandemic and the fears that came about that. Maybe that could spur that CEO to have a conversation with his company. Maybe that could spur that government leader to have a conversation with parliament or with their legislative assembly. Maybe that conversation could get the CEO to recognize their own economic anxiety and to realize how their anxiety or their divorce that happened during pandemic or the loss of their mother during pandemic is impacting the way that they're running their organization and it can change how they run their organization. How can I get to the World Economic Forum Mendevo, Switzerland, if I don't have a lot of financial power. Maybe I can get a connection. Maybe somebody would give me a free flight or a place to stay. But it's so much easier if I can just go.
That's just one example.
I can sit here and I can explain over and over again why I think the world needs me to be that. I can explain to you why I think the world needs other people, like my buddy Pavel or like Jake Clark or like other people that come to mind, why I believe that they should be some of the most financially powerful people in society. But at the end of the day, it comes down to whom do you trust with the financial power that will bring us in a direction that you want us to go.
And if you trust me, or if you think you might trust me, or if you want to take a little bit of risk, I would love if you start giving me some of that power. And it doesn't have to be a lot of money. It doesn't have to be for a long term. If you go to leadingheartsfund.com or leadinghearts.fund, you can find a link to my website where you can give a small amount of money, you can give a lot of money, you can give it for one month, you can give it for six months, you can give it indefinitely. Give it one time if you want. But the idea is that if we want to change this world, we need to start pulling some of our financial resources into the individuals we believe that will lead society in the direction we want to go.
We have to trust and verify and just, it's not, and you know, indefinite trust. We have to trust, we have to watch, we have to see where these leaders go and determine if we want to follow.
But otherwise, what's our option to sit back and just hope that the leaders will do something, sit back and hope that some organizations will do something. If we want change in society, I believe we need to trust individuals. We need to trust individuals to make the change, to lead the change.
And if I'm on here telling you that I trust other people more than myself, then I shouldn't be doing what I'm doing. I've spent 12 years trying to work very hard at trusting my own good intentions and trusting my own abilities and trusting my own heart, my own soul. And so I believe the world needs me to be one of the most financially powerful people, not just because I'll be rich and I'll sit there with it because what I will do with it what I'm likely to do with it to bring people back together to teach people how to love themselves how to love other people, to give us new creative tools and more than anything maybe just to be an example of someone who is working so damn hard to love himself and to love other people, and show people it's possible, and I need your help.
I need your help I'm not going to get there through investments I'm not going to get there through selling books I'm not going to get there through any other transactional way of where I give a service in exchange for money, no, I'm going to get there because people want me to be there because they believe what I will do with that power will help them and the people that they love, or is likely to do so, so please I'm asking for your help I'm asking you for your support so that I can go out there and so I can continue to do what I'm doing but on a much higher level.
And I'd be very grateful because I'm tired of seeing the direction in which the world is going right now and I want to pull it towards much more love and much more hope all right thank you all I love you so dearly and I'm grateful for you all listening to this and I hope that you want to be on this journey with me. Thanks.
